We just launched a new enhancement to the popular Geo-targeting feature. Geo-targeting, if you are not familiar with it, allows you to select specific countries in which your ads will be displayed.
Previously, Geo-targeting preferences were set at an account level, meaning that you had one setting that applied to all of your campaigns. The new ‘Geo Tag’ feature allows you to assign different geo settings to individual campaigns.
For example, you may wish to target North America and parts of Western Europe for an advertising campaign. You can create a Geo Tag that includes the countries of the US, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. Once this tag is created you can assign it to one or more of your advertising campaigns so that your ads will only be displayed to consumers in those countries.
To create or edit a Geo Tag, click the ‘Manage Campaigns’ tab and then click the ‘Geo Settings’ link on the left-hand-side of the page. From the Geo Settings page you can create, edit, view and delete Geo Tags. From this page you can also assign a single Geo Tag to all of your campaigns. You can also assign a single Geo Tag to a specific campaign from the ‘Add/Edit Campaign’ page.
