comScore measurement for AdOn Network

AdOn Network has signed on with comScore for their Media Metrix Ad Sales Network Service (Ad Networks). The service which provides third-party validation of ad network statistics.

Ad Networks reporting concentrates solely on measurement of ad sales networks for top advertising networks. This service delivers the industry source for in-depth measurement, evaluating the actual reach of ad sales networks and their channels. Advertisers and publishers use these metrics to gauge the performance of these networks, optimize ad spending and assess possible partnerships.

comScore's Ad Networks service measures unique visitors, average daily visitors, impressions and overall reach compared to the total Internet audience. comScore ad network reports are released on a monthly basis. During the month of November, comScore will be collecting and analyzing AdOn Network's traffic data that will be included in their ad networks report released in December.

AdOn Network Launches JargonFish

What's a "JargonFish" you ask? JargonFish is a free, customizable in-text widget allows you to add contextually related content to your website or blog.

In addition to adding content to your site, you also have the option of generating advertising revenue by choosing to display an ad at the bottom of the JargonFish window. To see how JargonFish works, click on one of the links below:

The coolest feature of JargonFish, however, is the custom tool feature. We supply you with a list of 15-20 standard tools for you to create your widget with (eBay, Yahoo, Google Maps, amazon...), but you also have the ability to create your own custom tools.

You can use the custom tools feature to cross-reference content located somewhere else on your website, or on another website that you operate. If you have affiliate programs, a Google adsense or Yahoo account, you can create custom tools to display those search results within the JargonFish window.
